Uhhhhh.....So why again are you saying they won’t circle LSU to play....a quality team from a quality conference?....I guess their number 1 seeding last year was done by favor?

This should be a multiple year event. LSU might lose. The recruiting off this game might give the University a SEC championship.

Yeah obviously we likely lose, but it’s still good for the team. Early season measuring stick and really get us ready for conference play.

And what's back is pretty damn good, too. Drew Timme is back, and so are Andrew Nembhard and Anton Watson.
CBS has them No. 1 right now. I don't think they're wrong.

I agree but I like it. It reminds me of the 1980 team playing no. 1 DePaul in Chicago. That was an all-time great game even though we lost.

Where are you seeing this? Because I'm seeing NOTHING about an LSU/GU matchup? There was a tweet from Jeff Goodman two days ago that sources told him
He then goes on to say:
No one on the GU message boards are even mentioning LSU. Goodman's statement of "highly ranked, Power 5 team" is pretty ambiguous and open to vast speculation. That said, LSU isn't expected to be "highly ranked" going into next season...or ranked at all.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but where are these rumors coming from?

Definitely, but it's also great exposure for your program, gives the fans something to be excited about (especially those who might not normally tune in until March) and it's a great measuring stick of where your team is at when you face a team like that (win or lose).
