I like Canada’s offense. The notion that he wasn’t allowed to run his offense is ridiculous. Outside of 1 half we saw Canada’s offense all year. He did th best he could with what we had
This. But that doesn’t fit the narrative “O is terrible and always screws everything up that goes wrong, and does nothing right”.
Certain posters here have it in their mind that he will fail, some literally admitting to wanting LSU to fail to get rid of O faster.
Outside of one half, we got canada’s offense. It’s not surprising to me that the rant takes from that interview that Canada is the best OC in football and Orgeron couldn’t see past himself to keep this amazing coordinator.

Except when it doesn’t fool anyone & costs us 10 penalties a game.
Try and @ me & tell me it was the wrong move. Go head.
BRAND NEW offensive system and completely different from anything LSU has done in over a decade
Of course there would be hiccups with the pre snap motions, I think most of us expected it.
Penalties were bad early on but became non existent by mid season
Motions were not the problem.
Re-watch the troy game, that offense looks nothing like the one Canada typically runs and the type of calls that were made.

She pretty reasonable that O told him to dial it down and he got butthurt.
More to it than that I suspect. There was a noticeable shite in the usage of Brennan after the Troy game. Word is Canada wanted to utilize him and O didn’t. O won that battle too. After awhile I’m sure Canada said why the heck did you hire me?

Canada is smarter than him and outspoken and O is threatened by him. Aranda is not outspoken in that way so O is comfortable with him.
Yep.

How do you label it a disaster when Canada did well with what he had,
because the two couldn't get along and see what year 2 had in store so now we're rebuilding yet again with more offensive turnover

You do realize we cut back from having multiple guys in motion to just 1 most of the time, right? And the drop in penalties coincided with that

Thanks. Personally, I appreciate change. Not change for change’s sake but just good healthy change. Sounds like a toxic relationship developed and I see this as great news. Happy we’re nipping it in the bud vs letting it fester.

You mean the one half where we Score 0 points vs a sunbelt team that we ultimately lose to by 3?
Yeah get over it. Ensminger get forever!

Well in that case. O is gonna feel threatened by a lot of coaches. Let’s just shitcan this O experiment now then if that’s the case. Coordinators take pride In their work and havereputations. They don’t need mindless meddling to f up their resume.

LSU is fricked until O is fired after two years of reliving the Curley Hallman years
you obviously have no idea how it was in the Hallman years. none.
LSU's trajectory is going up and if O can hire a really good OC the future looks good (based on what I've seen so far)

O said he would not interfere ever with the coordinators, only a few weeks into the season he is already at it
Who's to say this won't happen under the next coordinator?

It will happen under the next guy. This time he'll hire someone that won't challenge his (lack of) knowledge.
He's doing the exact same things that he was doing at OM. Can't believe people don't see it.

When did ole miss play in a New Year’s Day bowl game or have back to back top 10 recruiting classes?

that's just being intellectually dishonest Lester. The results aren't the same yet for obvious reasons, but he's definitely showing signs of a guy that hasn't actually learned from his mistakes.

Let me tell you something Grandad. I've been following LSU football since the Charles Alexander days. I watched LSU and Tulane beat the crap out of each other when Shawn Burks layed out a Tulane player. Don't tell me I don't know about the Hallman years you dip shite. This Admin is exactly in the same frame work as that one. After Arnsburger left you had one 10-1-1 brilliant season and then a steady decline because of easy safe hires. Ed Orgeron doesn't have the managerial skills to keep LSU in the title hunt neither does Alleva.

The guy that irrationally bashed les miles for literally everything from day one has gone full blown shield mode for ed oregeron?
Posted on 12/28/17 at 1:14 pm to TigerFanNKaty
Grandad also started a thread saying the recruiting class lsu has this year is the best class he’s ever seen

No BigJ, it just means you can’t conpare anything that happened at ole miss 10 years ago to what going on now. It’s simply not the same situation. Let’s stay between the lines here

You absolutely can, when he's repeating the same mistakes.

I didn’t bash Miles from day 1. Just when he started to show he was an incompetent game day coach. And boy did it rear it’s ugly head
O hasn’t been perfect by any means but turning every little move he makes into a negative is a sign of people starving to be right.
