There are a lot of idiots on this board, who know nothing about basketball. LSU is heading in the right direction under Wade. They just ran into a buzz saw tonight. Auburn was hot from 3 tonight. They may never shoot like that again. When a team is hot from 3 the way they were that’s hard to recover from. Wade had no intention to try and run with Auburn but Auburn controlled the tempo. Credit to them.

I feel for Wade because I know he wants us to play good defense but we don’t ha w the personnel. I wish he’d quit wasting time and energy trying to turn us into something we are not. He does have some offensive talent and needs to spend his energy maximizing that side of the ball. We aren’t going to stop good teams but we can out score a lot of them. I know losing puts a guy like Wade into a maddening state of mind but he needs to step back and re-evaluate what the identity of this team is.

No, it wasn’t. But I was expecting a better effort. Team was DOA before the game started.

IMO No. He needs to continue developing the skills and build the mindset for the program. For the returning players next year and the incoming players. This isn't a win something this year mentality. Win by learning and playing solid basketball.

The team is undermanned/talented on defense, but I would not forego that focus just to maximize this squad.

If you have a good Coach you don't get lack of effort.

Disagree totally, good coaches tailor their strategies to the personnel they have. There’s no reason he can’t continue to install his principals while adjusting his game plans to fit what his players do best. Of all college sports basketball has the highest turnover rate so if you’re not going to make changes according to the skills of your players annually you’re going to fail more often than not. What’s he’s tried to do is tinker with different defenses to stop teams instead of using what he has to outscore them. He’s not staying true to his system anyway but instead of adjusting and using gimmick defenses he should be maximizing our offensive potential while teaching his man to man defense.

I said it 2 weeks ago and I'll say it again, LSU can't compete with the bigger/tougher teams. Especially if those teams are mature and veteran. We just aren't a physical team. Has nothing to do with our coaching.

Exact same could be said with our football team. At least at this time. Now in a couple of years if there is no progress in either basketball or football, and we don't see the overall teams getting better student athletes in the programs and then they perform at a high level, then it's time to start putting some blame on the coaches.

Until they get their own players in their own systems, it's going to be tough to win. The QB situation is tough and will take time unless we just get lucky and grab a transfer or juco guy who can ball the frick out. GT

Only the idiots will call out individual players. We have severe limitations on this team that’s easy enough to see. Effort however does not require any talent. As WW has said he’s still got a few that haven’t bought in and they will be passed by next year if they’re still here.

Rome was destroyed by the invasion of the Germanic tribes. Is this a veiled call for white immigration from say Norway? Racist.
