SEC West champs. SEC Champs. Yes, it means a lot.

I think most people still want to see the two best teams in the NCG.

Of course.

But when we mention that we've already played and beaten the other best team in the country, it doesn't have the "marquee matchup" value that it would if we hadn't have already played.

Go to the next in line.

That's strange given your opinion that people should vote #2 for the team that they think is #2. It was clear to you 5 minutes ago. Why is it unclear now?

But that is not going to happen this year, so we need the voters to manipulate the system.

Many different teams had the chance to change the fate of the NCG, and couldn't do it.

Let's hope OSU and the voters can do it next weekend.

Winning all your games is a sign of a great team. Losing to a dog, not so much.

It's common sense, really. Get some.

I think OSU would have to win big to make it happen.

It does in some circles. The problem I have with that argument is that it invites the what if game. If Bama didn't have to play LSU, would they be undefeated? We have no way of really knowing that. Is the answer probably? Sure. You could play the same game with OSU. If they don't play ISU, are they undefeated? Probably, but we don't know that.

I hope LSU plays Ok. State, but would vote Bama number two if I had a vote. Just the way I feel about it.

I agree. Plus, I don't even think OSU can hang with OK.

You are trying to make the point that, right now, Alabama is clearly a better team than Ok State.

But, now you are trying to make the point that Oklahoma State had beaten Iowa State, that magically wouldn't be the case?

Absolutely agree, but every scenario in the current BCS system really does, particularly this year.

Which is why a playoff is necessary, but some would still hate it because of the potential for rematch.

Based on Ok. St. losing to ISU, yes.

Being undefeated makes a big difference to most rational people. I highly doubt you will get many people to argue with it.

Like I said, I agree with him.

You obviously are one of the pro rematch people, I am not.

The team busts their arse and beats everyone but they have to face a team that not only did they beat, that team is in the same conference.

Like I said, I don't get how #1 beating #2 on the road warrants a rematch simply because they stayed at #2. Yes, I know there were other teams that could've done it and all that..... I think the voters will take this into consideration.

It's simply unfair to the the number one team to face a team it's already played. That's not how the system is supposed to be.

While Bama sits at home and simply waits for a bowl game.

Now we're getting somewhere. Houston is unbeaten and I say.....Come on down, see you in the dome.
