Yes, we do. you don't want people to say, "Gee, they suck! No wonder they lost to LSU!"

My upset alert: Miami over Ohio State.

From the article...

quote:

A game against Washington State no longer can be considered an easy win. The Cougars have posted back-to-back victories for the first time since 2007 and already have met or exceeded their win totals for each of the past three seasons.

Lost all credibility right there.

I think I lot of people are forgetting how this schedule set up for the respective teams. LSU played Northwestern St., the starters didn't finish the game. Miss St. played a very physical game against Auburn that went down to the wire and they loss on the last play. Factor in all of this with a short week and LSU as the overall better and more physical team and then make your bet.

I think we're taking Moo State down, but there is one big thing that we have to contend with that we didn't in the last two weeks. SEC REFS! I will guarantee you that we don't look as "well coached" because of so few penalties.

Certainly no game is a gimmie but I just don't see this one.

MSU's biggest weakness is their rush defense, plus with some of their o-line out. Not to mention just being worn out from having played a hell of a game against Auburn a few days before.

All of this seems to play largely in favor of LSU.

I think we have huge advantages in this game. Miss st has not proven they can stop the run, and against this LSU team that is a death sentence.

Its a short week and the auburn game was very physical. They also showed they are not confident in passing the ball to win the game. I don't think you want this defense knowing your one dimensional.

No doubt state can win if LSU turns the ball over and makes mistakes. If the tigers come out a play a clean game and stick to what they have done, I think they win easily.

False. They try to get even money on each side.

Right now, majority of public is on LSU yet the line still favors State. Means there is a lot of wise guy money on them (those guys that bet big money every week)...which is what Reverse Line Movement is all about.

If LSU had played Alabama this weekend then have to turn around and play Miss ST then I would say yea bit no LSU HAD PRACTICE this weekend to get ready for Miss ST. LSU will win this week.

The good thing about all of this is LSU will have a little longer to prepare for WV

To expect any team to NOT play us with all they have is unrealistic... I agree, the rankings and stats only go so far, you still have to suit up and play the game..... it doesnt matter if MS has it circled or highlighted on thier calander, they wont beat us because 1)we will be prepared mentally and physically 2)we are more talented than they are with better depth 3) we are better coached 4) we are on a mission and the players feel it, they have bought into the system and mindset that CLM has installed IMO

Dont really see an upset happening here. LSU has much superior athletes and depth, plus MSU is coming off of a brutal physical game with AU and will still be hurting Thursday night. Losing their 2 best OLinemen will significantly hurt them, and if they run Relf against the LSU D like they did against the Auburn D he probably wont make the full game.

IMHO

LSU had too much speed for that dang good Oregon team. Why would they think MSU would have a chance?

This will be a tough win for the Tigahs. Moo can't afford to go 0-2 in conference play this early. They'll make it very tough on us, but think we'll prevail; just don't look for it to be pretty.
