I actually agree with this... Our fans have been so spoiled with first rounders these past few seasons.

I propose college players have to play three years before being drafted.
If that happened, LSU would be in the hunt every year. Just look at the improvement of Zach over one year, esp. his footowork.

You will forget... LSU may get a few to slip up to the first round and there is certainly a ton of NFL talent on this team. But there aren't any Patrick Petersons or Mingos right now. Mett and Hill are great players but QB and RB are not 1st round heavy positions anymore

What's the record for Offensive Tackles going in first round? Collins, indeed is a talent. Just hard to see him going in first round with him only playing tackle one year.

Schaub and Mett are similar in size, but that's about it. Mett has a cannon. With Schaub, the receivers have to wipe the dust off the ball by the time it gets to them. And yes, I'm a Texans fan.

Draft has shifted to a premium on DL and OL.
I could see Freak, Ego, La'El in 1st. ODB, Hill 2nd but could move up with combine. Landry a 2nd round steal. Mett 2nd round.

Nice post... I'm not saying he's not talented, but I don't think Beckham catches the ball well enough to be another Steve Smith.
