yall are frickin kidding yourselves if you think that we are better off without ridley. we may have some great young running backs, but ridley ran for 1000 yards in the sec last year. with mett throwing the ball and stretchin out the field next year, ridley will get 1k yards again.

Les wouldnt make a trip to miss. to get ridley if he didnt think we needed him. and i think we can all agree he would know his personnel better than any of you

If we throw the ball well next year Ridley could be a top 3 running back in the country.

Ridley was money and Oregon should've taught everyone you need a back like that. he is a guy that gets better as the game goes on and was the most consistent runner we've had in several years.

This. The big goals for next year are much more likely with him on board.

Not only do we need him but it also shows you what kind of man Les Miles really is, He doesnt just want Ridley playing he wants this kid to get his education...

this^ if we can threaten long pass looks, and opposing Ds buy it, the kid could have 1600 yds this season, but he will make $400k a year for the next 8 years anyways

Miles is being selfish, let that man go!

This is not fair.

1. We don't know if it's even true.
2. We don't know the circumstances.

Les is not running after PP7 because he knows his situation. That would be selfish.

Would be a huge coup if Miles is able to talk Ridley into coming back. His draft stock is not nearly high enough to warrant coming out early so getting his degree is the best choice for him at this time long term.

Having a 1000 yd rusher, team leader and vet on the team has no downside for the football team either.

i think he should go, he has been injury plagued his whole career, let the man get a payday, we have more rb's that can handle the load...let him go...

I think Miles wants him to get his a degree and be a leader as we make steps to the NCG.

This + improve his draft potential. Watching him pump up KShep before the Cotton was inspiring.

I was honestly kind of surprised. I thought he should come back for another season to prove himself. Is he projected to go in round 3 or something? Or is there something behind the scenes that we don't fully understand with his academics?

I've heard that the whole alleged cheating and the process he went through to clear his name, (he was innocent) made him want to move on.

You didn't look at the production this season of the backs he's competing with before typing, did you?
