I'm pretty sure the smoke even started during the season with him not really being happy here. It seemed to keep popping up from time to time even during the season and seemed to really get heated up again the same after.

How do you think Darren Evans happened so quickly right before the season? He didnt go into the portal not knowing where he would end up, it was already a done deal.
Best thing I think teams can do is if someone does transfer and you knew a team tampered a lot is block the player from going there specifically, not sure how much we can do this any more with the NCAA but we did it to TCU after they kept recruiting signees and players right off our roster with 1 OL that wanted to go there and we blocked him from doing so, he went to JUCO instead.

Yeah, figured it was commonplace, especially over the past year (Covid, Transfer Portal, etc)

It is but LSU does the same thing so they have dirt on us too. Nobody gets reported for that reason.

Yes. But he would be ineligible thru next spring. Not sure it matters except would it mean he pays his own way and all of that until eligible?

Making a change when you are currently successful is the height of silliness.
Add to that he had a better season than Stingley. Even if Stingley wasn't fluke injured he would have had many opportunities to show his stuff. That will continue into the '21 season.

Just because we do/did it too isn't necessarily going to stop us (or anyone else) from reporting it. What it comes down to is if (more like when) we do it and we feel it has been hidden well enough, the fear of counter-reporting isn't a factor. Boils down to this- if you can't prove it, we didn't do it.
