Has anyone made plans yet to attend this game? I know there is a large amount of Tigers in the Houston area, but is there expected to be many traveling Tigers?

I get that Rice is somewhat a historical rival and all and I understand that Houston is a big recruiting location for us, but I just don't understand why it was necessary to schedule this 2 for 1 deal.

If Rice wants to play us three times over the course of a few years then fine, but all games should be in BR.

No matter, it’ll be a home game for us anyway.
Rice can’t fill that 20,000 seat cracker box on their campus. Huuuuuge Tiger contingent in East Texas.

I take it you've never actually seen their on campus stadium.

In it's current configuration it holds 47,000. Original configuration was 70,000. Not that they fill the stadium, it's not a 20,000 seat crack jack box as I assume you were trying to say.

Houston area is a hotbed for our recruiting. Playing in an NFL stadium. It’s not really about our opponent. We’ll crush them by 40

I’ve gone to every game in Dallas and Houston. But this one has no appeal to me, such a shite opposition.
