Patrick Peterson was an absolute freak and did some crazy stuff, but while watching the UNC game I realized that he caused a safety just by showing a delayed rush. I hardly ever remember seeing him rush, but this one time he obviously threw off the QB and caused a premature snap. Just found that pretty funny and thought I’d share.

This is one of a few lackluster season opening wins that I can remember.

Great that lsu won but too close for comfort.

Same thing with the 2013 opener vs TCU. It was only a 10 point victory and should have been much more.

Looking back on the 2010 season, it’s wild how many 1 score games this team played in

Classic Les Miles. Totally dominate a team, then have to sweat out a win.

I totally forgot that all of LSU’s points in the UNC game were scored in the 1st half. Super disappointing after that.

Rewatching some of it and Mathieu made what should have been the game ending play around 13:30 before the Ridley fumble that let them back in it

We did what FSU did this past year - ran a toss with the game in hand and pop went the weasel.

With 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter Ridley scored a would be TD on a 19 yard run that was called back by an absolute phantom holding call on T-Bob where he pancaked his guy.

LSU goes up 37-10 with 11 minutes left and wins comfortably without that horrible call.

Your post was me after the Tennessee game. We won, but it didn’t really feel like a win walking down the ramps of TS.

I was gonna post this almost verbatim. Sweated out that last UNC possession and just got outta the dome feeling relieved.

It was the strangest thing. UNC fans were talking shite like they won and LSU fans were silent.

I remember UNC had an insane amount of starters suspended, like 10+ or something. Should've been a blowout playing 2nd stringers, instead of the bore-fest we got. Les playing down to the competition.

Does anyone remember the play where Patrick Peterson grabbed the WR and threw him to the ground at the beginning of the play? That was awesome to watch in person. The WR wasn't small, but didn't stand a chance against Peterson who had to weigh around 210 lbs.

Tyranny’s first game and i knew at halftime he would be a star. In the first half he made a couple of those highlite plays including stripping the QB of the ball coming around and behind. A legend was born That night

Yeah people forget going into that game it was supposed to be a pretty big game but then like half of UNCs team got suspended a couple weeks before it ruined the luster. Then when we still almost lost is was really a bummer. I remember going nuts watching the PP punt return tho

Rewatching 2010 UNC game

Was at that game sitting next to UNC fans

They kept saying "don't kick the ball to number fricking seven!" and wanted them to stop passing when #14 (Tyrann Mathieu) was around

2 of the positives of that game I remember was Tyrann coming out of nowhere, and I thought PP7 was gonna have a legit shot at the Heisman.
