our only real rival in the SEC is Ole Miss and im not even really that old. florida nor bama nor auburn even consider us a rival.
We have played both Mississippi schools over 100 times, alot more than anyone else.
we have played tulane 99 times (69-23-7)
we have played current sec teams the following amount of times

I’d like to keep playing Florida annually. It’s a nasty rivalry and sure bet for a good game.

frick that. I hate the idea of running from competition. I want to play Alabama Auburn and Florida every year. Those games are awesome. Those trips are awesome. LSU is absolutely a loser overall if this comes to pass and we lose our 3 biggest annual games. We've played Alabama and Florida every year for 50+ years. And except for a short break with Florida basically every year for almost 70 years.
I'm a little surprised this board seems quick to want to cast that history and tradition off.

This is so dumb. We've played every year for 30 years. With the amount of trash talking I've done and had done to me in Baton Rouge and in Auburn, they're our rival. When Alabama was down we competed directly with them for SEC West supremacy.
We always have awesome and competitive games. Because it took a while for this to groove until 30 years ago shouldn't mean much. The alternative is we're going to get Ole Miss, MSU, and TAMU. Only one of those is a rival and it isn't near the heyday of that rivalry.

Wrong. We've played Florida every year since the 70s. Except for a short 5 year break we've played them every year since the beginning of the Eisenhower administration.

That is so lame. What's the point of winning championships if you aren't playing the best teams to do it? The best game of 2019 wasn't Clemson or Oklahoma. It was in the regular season against Alabama. I was at all 3 games. The playoff games were straight up boring compared to that Alabama game.

And since 1992 there hasn't been a better series in college football. Rival or not I'd hate to lose the series.

I want to go to the 4-team pod system with no permanent out-of-pod games. IN this scenario, we would play OMiss, State, and Aggies every year and everyone else twice in 4 years. 9 SEC games per year.
I couldn't care less if we play bama, AU, and UF every year. twice in 4 years would be enough for me.
