You know if some of you would actually post something other than this repetitive shite, these discussions might actually not lead down the paths they usually do.

Yeah, because Jordan Jefferson is definitely a threat to the Baton Rouge community. I'm soooo glad the BRPD is devoting their resources to doing everything they can to stop this JJ threat from harming other Baton Rouge citizens.

The BRPD's job is to protect the citizens of Baton Rouge from crime (robbery/murder/rape). Not to go on a witch hunt to help some drunk a-hole that's pissed that he got his arse beat in a bar fight and needs someone to pay the hospital bills.

Dude, if LSU players weren't involved, this investigation would already be over.

Dude the only reason you even know about this investigation is because it involved LSU football players. The investigation has been ongoing for five days? I'd say that's a pretty short investigation.

It's so in depth because of the number of accusers and the seriousness of the injuries.

You can't help but think that BRPD has something specific in mind otherwise they wouldn't be going into JJ's apartment.

Its got to be the shoes or clothes he was wearing.

Check out baton rouges murder rate and then tell me whether they are doing their job or not.

There is no reason to be doing this. There should be more then enough witnesses and videos to clear or convict JJ of a bar fight in a crowded parking lot to not have to search his apartment almost a week after the fact.

But you don't want the damn truth, you want a coverup.

I want the truth and if searching his home gets the police closer to the truth then I'm all for it.

Once again look at BRs murder rate and then tell me who has their priorities in order.

Getting all pissy because they are doing a thorough investigation

i think the point everyone is making is that the BRPD usually could give two shits about crime in BR and this case is being ivestigated like it was a triple homicide

Statements like these are what make me sure that you lack perspective and can't see big picture issues.

So cops shouldn't be writing speeding tickets? Or showing up to 911 calls because somebody mowed a little strip of their grass? Or work traffic lights that are out? Or escort funerals?

I guess police departments should get rid of all of their divisions and just have them all out there walking plank road keeping us safe

There's absolutely no control up there. I remember going to school and seeing prostitutes on the street if you left late enough. Cops would just pass by like nothing was happening.

And if the police don't investigate the bar fight, then what?

How about if an off duty BRPD police officer was accused of breaking 3 vertebrae in a barfight? You'd be okay with the police not investigating that right?
