This is where I think Canada could make the difference. To do this you have to convince people that even though you lost to Bama on the road, that you're just as good, and a conservative offense that plays a lot of close games makes it less likely.
If Canada opens up the offense even a little and creates the perception of LSU having a potentially explosive offense, and we run up the score on a few quality opponents, we can still make the playoff and see Bama on a neutral field.

Need to not focus on Bama. I hope the staff goes into the season with the attitude that LSU is the team to beat.

Sounds like to me that he has great expectations from his team, as do the LSU fan base. Glad to hear it from Coach Orgeron.
