Lol - is there a better source than the person making the decisions? I’ll wait.

Hey, he's not the only one. I've been saying tomorrow all week!

The other advancement in the case came in the form of an addition to Wade’s team of attorneys. Steven Thompson, a Chicago-based lawyer known for his work with coaches on NCAA matters, joined the group to lead the coach’s NCAA infractions counsel. Thompson also represents Arizona coach Sean Miller and Auburn coach Bruce Pearl, who, like Wade, were both caught in the FBI’s probe. Michael McGovern, working at the New York-based firm Ropes & Gray, remains Wade’s lead counsel in the case.
This may have been the best move by Wade...bringing in new legal counsel Thompson.
He knows were the bodies are buried. The NCAA will back off now. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Is he supposed to just not report what he hears directly from the athletic department? Seems like he’s doing his job to me

Munson still speaking on behalf of LSU AD. Alleva still in the hole. Fire him (Alleva) already. What are you waiting for?

's agreed to meet with school and #NCAA officials
So, the original parameters of the meeting stay in place. This shows, with even new attorneys getting up to soeed, it was necessary.
LSU admin is vindicated in its otiginal request

Again, why the frick does our administration continue to require NCAA to be present?

No, it means Wade's camp got positive news from the feds that facilitated this meeting to proceed.

I fear that the meeting tomorrow will not lead to Coach Wade's reinstatement.
Rather it will lead to his termination.
Rather it will lead to his termination.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Still no comments from Alleva. I found that interesting.

The difference between March 8th and Friday are time and a new legal counsel. That equates to better preparation and more defense against an ambush.

It's going to be an inquisition atmosphere inside that meeting conference room. Hopefully Thompson has run Wade through the drill many times already and he is well prepared.

It was.
I will note, though, that the article makes clear that Wade did *not* fire his other attorney.

Whole lotta people around here jumped to conclusions that Wade fired his other attorney when it's far more likely Wade was just loading up on attorneys like O.J.

Right. If I made the implication that Wade fired his original attorney that was not my intention.
