Now I am not calling for Paul's head. He's one of the most unlikeable coaches we have had.

My struggle is trying to think of someone who would be better than him, and would be available.

He's got the track record, but agree to the point he's getting stale.

Ideas on who would be a suitable replacement?

Tadlocke from Texas Tech, but not sure if it’s realstic considering Tech is his Alma Mater.

First question of the interviews should be “do you think it’s acceptable to go into a season with Hal Hughes and Brandt Broussard locked into the starting lineup?”

Louisville and Texas Tech coach would be my choice. I’d call Sully at Florida first just for the hell of it

Yall need to climb down off Pawl's sack.

Clearly, the team is distraught over the dismissal of joealoevera.

And hangnails.

Can't swing a bat with hangnails.

If these kids don’t get experience how do they get better.

K Rob and Pap were much higher ranked recruits. Both have a greater skill set than Brandt and Hal.

I’m a big Chris Reid fan but when he’s starting and batting clean up at a program like LSU, you’re in trouble.

You go around every top tier program in the country in which you don’t think you’d be able to get their HC. Start speaking with their hitting/pitching coach. Whoever gives you the best feels go with them.

I’m not exactly sure what aspect of the game Mainieri coaches, definitely not pitching and I’m 99% sure he’s not involved in the hitting aspect either. Wtf does he actually do?

I love this idea. Just replace Paul with whichever unproven hitting/pitching coach says yes first. Absolutely brilliant.

Agreed but therein lies the major issue. No coaching. Who has gotten better at LSU as a hitter? Those two were taught to hit under Mr. Big Arms.

Pitching is another joke. Great talent there. Alan Dunn is a goofball. Is he better than me as a pitching coach? YES. But, is he the best pitching coach in college baseball as claimed by Paul M and baseball fans blinded by their loyalty to the program? Not even close. Look at the missteps and the injuries year after year. Pitchers get hurt. Throwing a baseball is an unnatural motion but Alan Dunn's handling of pitchers is pathetic.

And, what does he teach them? Does he have a patented pitch he teaches them? No. How about his game decisions on pulling them? This isn't one game or one season type issues. This is year after year. New AD will handle up on this type of crap

If a move is made there will be interest from legitimate candidates let’s not be silly here. The problem is not everyone is a PM fan including some players,so that’s an obvious problem

Guess what? We actually have an AD who knows how to handle this. Coach potato ADs from TD are no longer needed. Y'all are all fired.
