I’ll be blunt but honest:
When this LSU pass offense is at its peak...we don’t need CEH.
Anybody could be back there. Sorry.
But I did say at its PEAK. We probably don’t win the Bama game w/o CEH

If you want the rb most similar in size, shiftiness, strong beyond their size, it's Dalton Hilliard. You could have plugged several great backs in this offense and they would have thrived but I have to give credit to Clyde, he excelled this year.

Dominick Davis might have thrived in this offense

Kevin Faulk was the same kind of player for the patriots. Faulk would have been box office in this offense.
This.
Faulk played in the NFL for over a decade and won 3 Super Bowls doing exactly what CEH did in this offense. He set the SEC record for all-purpose yards playing 1990’s LSU football.. can you imagine what he would have done with Joe Burrow on his team?
Interesting tidbit: Kevin Faulk was 5’-8”, 205 lbs. at the NFL combine. CEH is listed at 5’-8”, 209 lbs.

If we are just naming LSU RBs then Joseph Addai.
Met him a couple times, he was a good guy and hell of a good runner.

He was never thrown too. He caught a lot of balls in high school and just had a 76 reception season in the nfl

Toefield would have run wild in this offense.
