Yeah, he may be a piece of shite person but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t a hell of an athlete.
On the other hand, do we as a society really want to celebrate people like that in any way? I mean, Jim Jones did a lot of good early on in his life for the poor and black communities around him. Had he not gone off the deep end to bat shite crazy, he would be celebrated as a civil rights hero today.
