But it's not meaningless. Because the CFP poll is massively influenced by the AP poll. They've found that voters vote differently when there's no AP Poll than with one.

But people in the press who cover a beat should have 2 separate accounts...1 professional and 1 personal.
If I want her LSU baseball news on Twitter, I shouldn't have to duck and dodge her personal life battles with mental health and dating.

It's amazing that for so long NCAA football didn't have a way for teams to decide it out on the field with something like a playoff system. They just let media pick and decide. This is how you have teams like Auburn who can claim championship they didn't earn because some random media source picked them as NC those years.

This is a BS cop out.
Millions upon. Millions of dollars are sunk into these programs, coaching staffs etc etc.
The goal being to make the top 25 or higher. It’s literally their job to put thought into these rankings and have some sort of reasoning. The girl catching the heat moved UF UP. She clearly didn’t put any thought and had no knowledge of what happened on Saturday.
