Then JD5 showed up 3 years later. He’ll be greatly missed. What a great time to be alive as a Tiger fan.

They are different types of QBs obviously, but we got the absolute best of both worlds.

Burrow is still a click or two above JD5 in my opinion…. But JD5 is in the same ballpark. He’s elite. Just more legs and less accurate arm, while Burrow was more accurate arm and less legs, but Burrow had “it factor” whereas it’s hard to know with Daniels because the defense(Matt House) cost this team an undefeated year.
Burrow and JD5 are both tough QBs too. Both took some hard shots and kept comin.
It’s like trying to say who’s better between Drew Brees and Lamar Jackson.

Oh my goodness, but we still have those here implying that JD can’t pass. I thought all those had runaway and hidden.
The guy makes some really good throws. And yes, he’s fortunate to have some receivers who are capable of making some really good catches.
Bottom line, JD is a great college quarterback!

Glad to see #5 grow.
Now if everyone can down when Nuss makes his debut, that would be great. He will develop as the season progresses.

Still haven’t seen another Burrow. Daniels is definitely good, but Burrow will remain the best QB LSU has ever had.

Burrow had the greatest season in CFB history! Accounted for 66 TDs against one of the toughest schedules ever! They beat FIVE teams that finished ranked in the top 8! The only two teams they didn’t play (beat) were Oregon and Ohio State!
