Remember when our 100 million dollar head coach fired the entire defensive staff?

He hired all those guys, they ended up being a disaster and had to fire everyone of them. Well guess what? He’s about to have to clean house on the other side of the ball too. I don’t understand how even a decent coach could manage to blunder hires on both sides of the ball multiple times. His poor decisions are costing LSU more and more money. Honestly, can anyone offer one thing that Kelly genuinely offers the program? His entire coaching tenure has been reacting to his own poor decisions, never innovative.

Edit: for everyone talking about him cleaning house when he first got to LSU, that’s obviously not what I’m talking about. I am speaking about the defensive hires he made, then subsequently fired after the 2023 season.

Firing the offensive staff will mean BK has turned over the staff in all three phases since his hiring. That's an impressive amount of poor hires in 4 years.

He's an effective politician that does just good enough to convince people to keep coming out and watching, and to keep LSU in the headlines. And he always keeps an insurance policy in his program to scapegoat and make it look like he's taking action. Look at how Jay Johnson operates and look how Brian Kelly operates. One is always on the front foot driven by winning all the time, while the other is reactive and wants to do just enough to get by.

Well, it's too late. How many times will he screw up the staff hirings? This is not a good HC.

Nah dipshit. When he fired the staff HE HIRED when he fielded the worst defense in school history, 2023 season.

So like every coach does when he takes a new job?

He kept 1 guy on the offensive staff, and everyone here was happy about that. Now they want that guy fired, perhaps with cause, though.

Everyone who has quit drinking the kool-aid agrees. We just have to wait and see if the power brokers are still drinking it or not.

Just about every coach has ties to Louisiana and that’s what connects the dots. Can Atkins who is from Louisiana call plays or was it Norvell calling them at Florida State?

LSU athletic department is already in a deficit so not sure how up they are to firing anyone if big money support says no deal with it yourself.
