Every game. The cheerleaders would rattle a cup against the bars of the cage and Mike would let it rip. Was awesome.

My roommate at LSU (mid-80s) is a vet and was pre-vet back then. He had dealings with Mike when he was in vet school. Relates that Mike would get so worked up in cage in stadium that, despite being sedated, he would gash his face on cage, sometimes requiring stitches.
I loved Mike being in the stadium, but it was stressful on him and it was absolutely the correct decision to forever halt the practice. Really nothing SJW about the decision.

I think it is ok if he is a little stressed out 5 nights a year if you feed him 4-5 ribeyes when he gets home. He'd remember that.

I loved it as a kid but when I got older and actually understood that it might stress the Tiger out, I was ok with him not coming i hope they can find a Tiger like Mike V who loved the attention one day though
