I never thought that Miles “ran the program into the ground”. He just became satisfied with good. This is why, with all his faults, Aleva should get a lot of credit for pulling the string when he did. The rest is history...and a very good history it has become !!!!!

Remember when he put Claiborne at corner. A 3* QB that went top 10.

What a maroon.

Les Miles wanted Dak Prescott to be a TE, so he went to Moo State. Massive miss!!!

This is the best one, LSU offered him to play QB. He stuck with his commitment. Guess who didn't offer him to play QB? All the other P5 coaches in the country other than Mullen and Miles.

Our team is playing in the playoffs, but we are bashing the coach that kept us relevant for over a decade. Strange.

Maybe because with Dee Anderson, Derrick Dillon, Drake Davis, Tyron Johnson, Terrace Marshall, Justin Jefferson and Stephen Sullivan all figured to be on the roster on the roster when Chase arrived, he figured that depth at corner? That maybe it might be better idea than having 5-6 4* WR's on the bench while he ran an offense that used a fullback. Maybe you haven't noticed the lack of depth at corner the last 2 years? We had to ask WR's to play corner in the Fiesta Bowl.

This is true. People also won't point out one of our best defenders was switched to wr, and h back. He's now 2nd team all sec safety and was a 3 time sec player of the week. shite happens.

I'm just pointing out they made good decisions on putting athletes in rt positions. Something you have to do when dealing with Louisiana talent. Guys like Randle, Magee, Beckwith played QB and other positions. Before that Saban did the same with guys like Henderson, webster, doucet and Josh Reed.

The point is plenty of athletes have played diff positions and excelled under different coaches.

Some of y'all just don't live in reality.

Coaches look at switching players around all the time.

Saban wanted to make Patrick White a DB. He got mad and went to WV instead. Hmm.... how would he have done as a db? Probably made it to the pros and had a decent career.

Guess it has been a day since a shite on Les thread, they're certainly easier being LSU in the playoffs at 13-0

Let it go dude. We get it, you hate one of LSU's most successful coaches of all time. Get over it, he's gone.

Anyone who's coached as long as Les did will whiff on few. It happens. Les probably has a higher 'batting average' than most.

Les's football philosophy ought to be criticized because it didn't maximize out potential on offense and he refused to change.

But cherry-picking a player or two over 11+ seasons seems petty.
