I remember. It's opening weekend FFS. I bet Florida fans aren't calling for thier coach to be fired and giving up.

Our dumbass fans do this every year. It's like clockwork. Lose some meaningless games and they freak out claiming we suck and Pual needs to be fired. Then we make it to Omaha and they get pissed we didn't win it all.

Not that they are comparable at all in reality but LSU fans don’t live in reality and they would still be saying the same things they are now if LSU lost 2 out of 3 to the 11th ranked team in the country.

Stupid coaching moves. Playing Hellmers at thirdbase. Throwing your closer up 6-1 and saying he isn’t available for Saturday. Why are you throwing him up 6-1. Your closer should be ready to close every game of the weekend.

sorry youre right, really meant fighting for the SEC and top national seed like so many expect. I think theyll have a shot to finish middle of the pack and possibly get a regional host site is the ceiling for them.

It’s not about the team or about this one game. We are super talented and could make a run at it all. It’s the decision making by PM that is concerning. Arnold not playing, not pitching fontenot and playing Helmers cost us the game. He literally could have gotten one of those things right and we would’ve won the game. That’s why people are pissed.

You are right about all of these but the people saying it’s early and don’t put stock into that one game are saying this with the understanding that if this were a big time SEC series or in the postseason he doesn’t make these decisions. Especially Fontenot pitching game one and not pitching the 9th in game 2. Until he had to take out Floyd and out in George CPM went into the last 2 games with a pitching plan for every inning and didn’t deviate from it. I don’t expect him to do that later in the season.
