I think Oklahoma blew their chance.

I agree. As of now, they are out. However, they can get back in with work in the last two weekends and in the Big12 tourney. It'll be easy too since that conference is so awful this year. They won't need that high of an RPI with regard to others because of the subjective reasoning and affirmative action of the selection committee. With that said, their RPI is bad

if those frickers get a regional after we got snubbed 2 years ago

I think the comittee puts alot into performance in your conference and not just RPI. Arkansas despite their weak schedule (and losing against that weak schedule) is doing great in the SEC this will give them a boost. LSU the year they missed it had a high RPI but they fell short of the SEC tourney which hurt their chances.

We so stacked, we're sending two teams to regionals.

Sun Belt (1) - South Alabama* (my guess who we get paired up with)

My guess, too. And ULaLa here as the #2 in our Regional. Would be pretty nice if we could get to Omaha by only going through the Sun Belt. Then again, that didn't exactly work out with the America East last year.

I'm not sure S Alabama gets one, prob at the sake of OU or OSU whoever wins the Big 12. Does USA have a facility to host or would they have to host it at the Bay Bears stadium a la Purdue last year.

On a side note, does Texas athletics try at anything anymore?

They are too busy "Keeping Austin Weird"

Actually they are trying to break a Big 12 record for holding on to as many washed up coaches as possible. Mack, Rick and Augie say Hey from the cheap seats!

South Alabama is in a better place than Oklahoma is right now. All they really need to do is keep on winning the games they are supposed to, and they will host. They have that tough series with USL, but they are honestly the better team. USA's RPI is far and away better than OU's, who IMO just played themselves out of a regional host this past weekend. They'll need to make up group and get help for them to host (win Big XII tourney) because their conference is so incredibly atrocious this season.
