Does it piss anyone else off just a little more when you think about it?

It was time for Les to go. You fired him. But he was a good man who did great things at LSU and you shite on him saying he was “like talking to a wall”.

Will Wade was suspended. He was reinstated. He won an SEC title. Alleva wrecked the end of the guy’s season.

Yet, Alleva is in the press poor mouthing both of them once he’s gone and out of Baton Rouge. He’s obviously a coward for waiting until now.

Then the whole “never hiring Fisher” aspect. Obvious shot at Woodward.

Alleva got what he wanted from both situations. One fired and the other suspended and dragged through the press. It takes a massive piece of shite to be quoted saying what he did to that fat frick Rabalais

The Wade shite pisses me off.

The balls of that guy to talk shite on Wade after that was the reason he was fired... for making one of the worst decisions in LSU history.

The whole thing was scummy. He’s a low rent Dago with no class who didn’t deserve the job at LSU he lucked into

The fact is that the AD always gets blamed for shite that wasn't his fault, and never gets recognized for good things he was responsible for. What a miserable job being AD at a major university must be. I don't have any hard feelings for Alleva, I'm just glad we have Woodward - so far.

As far as Wade goes, he didn't exactly help his own situation very well.

Dude, he's retired now. He CERTAINLY shouldn't be saying shite like that if he was still working at LSU.

It pissed me off the 1st time I read it.

Alleva is a POS. He's perhaps the most embarrassing hire at LSU ...... ever.

Talking shite about a coach you hired and another one you gave a couple extensions to is professional?

His legacy is bad mouthing and suspending innocent people. At Duke and at LSU. He’s a piece of shite and anyone saying different is a dumbass.

I actually respected alleva a little more after reading it. Always felt like the O hiring was a huge cluster F. Did not mind that O was the result nearly as much as the way the process was being portrayed in the media. He didn't want jimbo, neither did I. He didn't want to pay Herman his asking price, I wanted Herman but this in hind-site was something he did well with. The thing with Wade is this......I am glad we got Wade back......and he did handle it poorly......but I understood where he was coming from there. With Miles he was trying to get him to do what everyone was trying to get him to do and Ed O has done. He was a really awkward fit and I think that rubbed us all the wrong way more than anything.

Alleva is being sour grapes and, quite honestly, unprofessional and immature. All we can do is be glad he's gone and hope that he keeps his mouth shut from here on out.

Why would anyone respect Alleva ever after Duke?

Where did you understand where he was coming from with Wade? When Arizona didn’t suspend Miller? When Kansas didn’t suspend Self? When Auburn didn’t suspend Pearl?

Or North Carolina just saying, make us cooperate and the NCAA did nothing. Alleva has no manhood.

Happily, I never again have to care what Alleva ever says or does.

I simply do not give a sick rat’s arse.

I said this in the other thread about it. He comes off even more of a whiny POS. The comments about Wade, Les, and Jimbo were completely unecessary and unwarranted. What does he expect to achieve by saying those things?

This is the same guy that threw an entire lacrosse team under the bus without any facts, though, so that's just who he is.

I'm glad he's no longer working for LSU in an active role, and he's no longer living in out state. He can keep collecting his direct deposit from Florida as long as he stays away.

I agree with the OP wholeheartedly. And to put this garbage-arse piece out when the basketball team is 2-0 in conference and the football team is about to play for an undefeated national title season is hack bullshite on the part of Rabalais.

It serves no relevance whatsoever, and is just an enormous ego-stroke by two guys trying to compensate for the numerous short-comings in their own professional lives. You can throw the worst mistakes from Miles, Wade and Fisher’s existence into a pile and it wouldn’t compare to Alleva’s role in the Duke Lacrosse case.

My opinion of him was pretty low. This made me respect him a little more. Felt he wanted jimbo and herman and just botched the hires.

Rabalais is a fat fricking piece of shite. I’d love to catch him behind a sonic and see how nice he gets with those hands

I didn't want to suspend wade. I understand that Wade had probably done some things he shouldn't have and Alleva was pissed about how that all went down. As would anyone else that was being honest.
