Receivers can’t catch, OL can’t block, RB doesn’t hit the hole...

It’s the whole freakin offense.

It’s not talent...that topic has been beaten to death.

It can’t be OL talent, WR talent, RB talent, AND QB talent.

It’s coaching/philosophy on the offensive side of the ball.

If no changes are made in the offseason, we’re going to see the same thing next year.

Isn’t that the often repeated definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?

You need to get your priorities in order. IF you REALLY believe that this coaching staff has a philosophy on O: for the RB to pause at the LOS, for the OL to just wing it, to handcuff the D.

Just give 0 more time. He just needs more time.

Meanwhile, the rest of college football moves on without us.

When it’s EVERY position on offense that is underperforming, who else is to blame? Idiot.

OL: LSU played with a different combination 90% of the season.

WR: Talented but young (lot of drops this year)

RB: No one with breakaway speed

QB: Been at LSU 6 months

There you go bringing facts to an emotional argument.

I am so sick of hearing this, regardless of where you stand on the staff. This is their JOB. Sure, they don't actually do it, but they are paid millions of dollars to make sure it happens. No free passes because "the coaches can't block, catch, or tackle". Complete BS.

And sadly half the posters around here have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old girl.

If only LSU could produce offense with the proficiency that you produce excuses.

THIS is your mistake! It can, and it is - all except QB. We have a very good QB (not great), but every olinemen, WR, and RB is either a Sunbelt level talent or very young.

Go look at the recruiting rankings. Our average defensive recruit is way higher ranked than our average offensive recruit.

There is a philosophic principle that explains what you, and many others, are doing as you search for complex explanations around scheme. It’s called “Occam’s Razor”. It is an aphorism that advises us not to search for complex reasons when a simple reason will suffice.

Surely there are better offensive coordinators out there - and I’m not saying we should not go get one - but Ensminger is at least an average OC, and with offensive talent that matched our defensive talent, he would have an above average offense. And we don’t.

If only we could win 9-10 games we’d have a pretty good team.
The bitching around this season belies the immaturity of the fan base. It is ridiculous.

But they can bench guys like Jefferson who can't catch a cold all of a sudden... Need to show who is boss and if you don't have the talent to play at the highest level here is the bench, then here is the processed out paperwork

Well actually that is the definition of talent in football, that players can do those things is it not? I guess it is also player execution and development if the players can potentially do those things but arn't executing. It could also be recruiting in that they recruit players that can do those things but don't have the discipline to develop themselves and hold themselves accountable. Whatever the reason is, the solution is the same, we need some competent coaches to recruit, develop, and teach the players to play football.

Not big fan of offensive play calling and overall scheme, but LSU's single biggest issue is the offensive line and frankly the defensive line also.
