Yea but UGA didn’t beat UT 40-13 either. Neither was UT on its home field like LSU when they lost.

UGa is a lock to be in the CFP, barring any loss before the SECCG.
If LSU wins out, we are in. No way UT would be able to trump our resume.
UT beat us, but UGa beat them, and we will have beaten UGa (assuming we win out). The circular wins means something else breaks the tie. We will have two losses (bad), but we will also have two titles (SECW and SEC). UT will have neither. Championships matter, and those will get LSU over the top. No way an SEC champ gets left out of the mix if they're ranked near the top going into the SECCG. I can see a 3-loss SEC champ being left out (so the UAB and aTm games are crucial). I could see a 2-loss SEC champ being left out if we have a bunch of undefeated teams at the top. However, that's not going to be the scenario.
UT's best hope is that some combination happens of LSU, TCU, and/or Michigan losing. If LSU, TCU, and Ohio State win out, UT will be left out of the CFP. They could even be jumped by USC.

You’re right. But, scoreboards don’t always tell the full story. You’re delusional if you think the UGA vs UT game was any closer on the field than the UT vs LSU game. Take away the 10 points LSU spotted UT to start the game and the score between those two games is almost identical.

Yeah, I said it. IF Bama were in LSU's spot, ESPN would already have them as the #4 team in the playoff if they beat UGA, even with 2 losses.

UT held LSU to 55 yards rushing for entire game. UT could have scored more than they did.
Everyone keeps talking about UT didn’t have any chance against UGA. But UT had 21 1st downs and had the ball for 29 minutes. UT was inside 40 yard line 6 times. UT shot them selfs In the foot the entire game. UT misses 3 TD’s to wide open WR’s. We won’t make these same mistakes on a neutral field.

Simple. If we beat GA while TN is home eating turkey, the SEC Champion gets in which will be LSU. TN may have 1 loss, but with LSU beating GA in the SECCG cancels that thought. They had their chance with GA and kissed their sister. The SECC will not be left out of the playoffs. But, if we happen to lose against the faggies and still beat GA then TN gets in. LSU needs to take care of business the next 3 weeks before we can even hope to get into the playoffs.

It is fun to be in this conversation but y’all do realize that UGA is beating us 38-17, right? They are on a whole different level defensively. Go find the highlights of them completely shutting down the TN QB. More pertinent conversation is can we keep it close enough to still earn a NY6 bowl or will be drop to Camping World Bowl vs. Penn State (which would still be fun)
