Why does having confidence we'll beat Florida make me a troll? Are you right in the head?

True, but it was the first game of the year, Coach O was not our coach and Danny Etling was not our quarterback. I think it's unfair to base our potential play in day games based on just one game, especially that one.

I'm so worried about this game that I made up a new logo for UF:

Arkansas put up 466 yds on them while LSU held Arkansas to 291. LSU will roll UF.

Arkansas put up 473 yards, made 25 first downs and scored 30 points on Alabama, too. Just because Florida gave up yards and points to Arkansas doesn't mean they will to us. We have to be sharp in our offensive execution against this very good (even if banged up) defense.

Why they play the games! I can assure you O is not taking this Gator team lightly nor should our team or fans. Still an SEC opponent

Only way I see LSU losing this game is poor special teams and/or multiple turnovers on offense that either go for 6 or lead to points on a short field.

Ball security and special teams are key in this game. Don't turn it over in your own territory and cover kicks and LSU should have a good day.

both teams might still be playing for Sugar bowl slot.

Sugar Bowl doesn't want UF. The last time Florida played there, the Superdome was nearly empty -- Sugar Bowl reported its lowest tickets sales since the 30s I believe.

Florida's run D is the only thing that gives me slight pause. Our defense is going to absolutely humiliate UF's offense.

Exactly. Know way Florida gets 300 yards on this defense.

LSU's three losses this year are against really good defenses. Yes the first two were with CLM as coach, but we looked pretty bad offensively against Bama too. Just sayin'. Am I the only one that thought our offense looked scarily Miles-like against Arky with all those toss plays?

THEY are banged up with many starters out, and we would beat them at full strength any way. ZERO concern about this game, we win easily.

The Gators are 3rd in the nation behind Bama and Michigan in total defense. Just pointing out a fact.

They are starting to slip now because they are just beat to hell. I'll be shocked if their run D can hold up against Guice in this game.

Arkansas is giving up historically bad yards per carry numbers this season, and just got raped on the ground vs Auburn, Bama, and our Tigers. I would have been unhappy with fewer runs.
