He comes into our home and uses that time to learn the ropes of LA recruiting. Leaves because his ego is so big that he must try the NFL. Once he completely fails, do you think he might just pause when our arch-rival offers him? Did he think, “I owe it to the Tigers not to go THERE.”
No, he didn’t. Because it’s all about him.
No doubt he’s a great coach but I’ll take a high character guy any day over him. It’s not just about winning football games IMO.
The guy is a loser and I’m not talking about games
LOLWUT?
Wait, so the guy is supposed to pass at the opportunity to coach at a place that has all kinds of history and promise, simply because he coached at LSU for a few years and won a Championship?
The mindset that some of you have regarding a GAME is beyond me.
Of all the reasons some of you simpletons hate Saban, this HAS to be one of the dumbest, if not the dumbest.

He wanted to come back here but Leslie Ann Miles backed out of the Michigan gig
Is there any truth to this? Asking honestly.

You think any great coach thinks that way?

I think Saban is an arse. He's a pompous, pretentious arse.
I don't like that he ended up at Alabama. But I can't believe anyone would think it was Saban's master plan to abscond to The Dolphins just to fail and secure a job at Alabama. LSU was on the cusp of a National Title with Miles when Saban came back. Miles was still recruiting at a high level and continuing to carry on what Saban had started. Alabama wasn't even the most desirable destination but they weren't bad, and Saban saw the potential there.
He's the GOAT. He's a prick, but that's acceptable when you continue to win National Championships and play and recruit at the highest level year after year. Nobody in the coaching world of college football other than Dabo can even hold Nick's jock strap.
I wish he had stayed at LSU and we were about to win our 12th or 14th title with him since 2004, but it just didn't work out. The football gods will one day call Saban to step aside, but until then he's just going to keep winning. And with the REC and SEC in his pocket, that day will likely not come any time soon.
In the meantime, I just want a damn offense that can at least make Saban throw his headset once or twice a game...
