If you are fighting the coaching all the way then you are only compounding the issue. And you deserve to be benched. You grow the frick up and play the game. Regardless of how much you may disagree with the play calling. Don't make the issue worse by being a cancer and affecting the moral of the rest of the team.

A coach who keeps throwing his players under the bus isn't going to win a lot of support from his team. A coach that refuses to change his offense to fit the strengths and weaknesses of his team is also not going to win much favor.

These are kids, many of whom view this sport as their ticket to a better life. You hire a coach because he can convince these kids to believe in him and themselves. If your coach can't do that then why pay him $4 million a year?

I wouldn't put too much into what you saw. It was miserable hot and we were getting our asses handed to us. The sun was on the LSU bench until well into the third quarter.

I was there as well but, I was sitting under the press box so I couldn't see that far.

We have one of the biggest o-lines this year and every single one of them is soft. Big, slow, unathletic, uninspired, pile of goo SOFT.

Can't argue with you there. Wasn't Les an offensive lineman?

What was last year then? With JJ we ran the ball. With mett weve thrown the ball more times in 6 games than jordan would have in 14. We have changed the offense. We called screen passes, we threw to the tes, they changed it up and the fans still bitch. We are just not as good, plain and simple. UF got healthier while LSU got injured. Id love to see any team lose 6 starters and still be a top 10 team.

it showed. Our offense looks deflated. That game was lost at halftime when we had to kick a FG after the fumble.

Somebody on the Offense, or offensive staff better have a fireside chat or we are staring 7-5 and the Music City Bowl in the face.

Les can lose every game left this season and still average 10 wins a season. Thats why he gets paid 4 million.

I was 6 rows in front of you. And it wasn't tiredness, they came out of the gates that way. Yes it was hot. But this is football. You condition all summer long for it. Suck it up.

Mentioned it when they came on the field. LSU looked lethargic out of the gate, UF looked excited and hyped up

I was thnking this but didn't want to say it but OK, is there something going on there, especially with the election coming up? I'm hoping not the case! Remember they didn't care for J Booty, (black and white players) but all rallyed around Rohan so not quite the same.

Are you fricking serious? You can't be this damn stupid.

Maybe Mett changed with the stache cut but he really wasn't doing all that before.

Russell Shepard was sulking like a lil baby all fricking game. His body language on the bench sucked. I think he has come to the realization his college career is going to end in mediocrity.

It's pretty bad when our only player on the bench who showed any life in the 2nd half was James Hairston. Kudos to our kicker.

When people start slamming all the players...current and former...I think we have officially run out of excuses for Les.

I sat row 8 on the 50 yard line behind the bench. Everyone was visibly tired. Probably from the heat. shite I was exhausted from the heat and I didn't have a sip of alcohol.

I can think of other reasons but I am going to go stick my head back in the damn sand like everyone else in the program

so exactly what are the strengths and weaknesses of this team? our OL is weak at blocking, pass or run. our wr's have conrete for hands often. there is no scheme for those weaknesses.

Misdirection and using quick passes and draws. Try to get to the edge using ford and shep. Repeatedly running up the gut is not the answer.

Why are you shifting the thread on to GABlueDog? It's not about him. It's about Mett and team enthusiasm. He's simply suggesting that some of the players no longer buy-in lock, stock, and barrel to the schemes, plays etc of the staff. Do you agree with him or not? And why?

Some people use misdirection when they no longer have anything to counter a point. Grandpa is actually using this technique properly.

Now if only Les could realize this...
