Are we really going to continue to see the stable poured out in every game in the future? I'd like to see more of a featured back with some sprinkling in with others. A RB getting into a rhythm is beneficial. Darrel Williams could have been great at LSU had he ever been afforded rhythm and reps. I'd love to see Emery develop quickly

if only he wasn’t behind a pair of generational level backs.

I’d like to see curry emerge and have a four man rotation. Helaire/curry/Fournette/;”1frosh

Then ( as much as it pisses some of you off) id like to see one frosh rb redshirt.

Put a year separation between Davis and emery.

That basically gives us a back for the 2020 recruiting class so we can spend the scholly on oLine. .

I don't understand this line of thinking. You either see the field, or not. We're going to run you, with negative yardage, until you get into a rhythm.

22 will start, we know he can get the job done, then if 3 or 4 make plays they will take a larger share. We need to make it a point to get Emery involved though, he's special.

I’m not really sure how effective fournette will be running between the tackles in sec play but he’s good on screens.

To me TDP is the 2nd best back should be the #2.

with two great young guys like we got you have to feel it out early in the season. I say by about week 4 it'll most likely be 2 guys getting 90% of the carries. you have to get it to the best guys. and you have to let them get a rhythm.

IDC what anyone says... 3 guys at MOST need to be touching the ball by mid season. Not all running backs are made equal. Someone or a couple of guys will emerge. Don't worry about it. It will sort itself out. Always does

It’ll be CEH, Emery, TDP by mid season. And on to next year. Stacked. Just getting warmed up.

Neither will be here five years, so there’s no point.

I would like to see us focus on these three guys:
- CEH
- Emery
- Curry

They fulfill every need. The other two can move into the top 3 if injuries happen.

His stride reminds me of Keiland Williams.

The ball will be spread around but Emery will emerge as the star.

our best teams didn’t have a feature back. 06, 07, 11 all did it by committee at least to a degree. all 5 guys offer something different. Clyde’s a do it all guy, Emery just has it, TDP looks like a bruiser and looked like his hands are pretty good too, Lanard is pretty technically sound and has nice hands, and Curry is just violent

Love the guy, but he was never the best RB on his team.

I think CEH and emery will start carrying the bulk of the carries pretty soon, but maybe not thus week

I thought Clyde looked really good. TDP priced looked pretty good too. You can def already see the “thunder & lighting” with TDP and Emory.

Yea it’s unnecessary to have 5 guys every game. It needs to shaved down to about 3 backs consistently so we can maybe redshirt a couple of these guys. 1 or 2 of the young backs will need to step up and become the featured ball carriers while CEH and Fournette continue as the 3rd down change of pace type backs. Neither of the upperclassmen are feature type ball carriers vs the better defensive personnel we’ll face as the year goes on but will be vital to the passing game.

I agree with letting a guy get in the groove. I debate on fresh legs idea.

Either way, get them all touches early and ride the horse that’s ready

These are typically the most successful RBs. Hopefully we are teaching this technique.
