Well, when you look at the other coaches on the staff I'd feel disrespected too.
Why? If I was the top paid coach in my field, I wouldn't feel disrespected

I'm willing to bet money Georgia or another program would love to have his services to pay more than LSU.

What was Sullivan's salary relative to WR coaches in CFB?

I have no idea. Why do you think that's relevant?
Here's a list of all the assistant salaries nationally. Have fun

You give Cooper credit for Patrick Peterson

SO, like I said, the majority were either coached or recruited by Cooper, not Raymond. Sure I don't want Raymond to leave, but we will be fine if he does all the same.
You listed 4 players that were recruited or coached by Cooper to make the point that he created DBU, did you not? You used Patrick Peterson in that list, did you not?

he's tired of being treated like it, and I don't blame him. There's a reason why other programs would kill to have him.
How has LSU mistreated him? He's the highest paid coach at his position. Do you know why he feels this way?

I listed 4 players that were not coached or recruited by Raymond.
I did say the majority of the current NFL guys were either coached or recruited by Cooper, which is a true statement.
Anything else you'd like to add? I mean we've already established DBU pre-dated Raymond and that Raymond is the highest paid DBs coach in the country. We've also established he hasn't accepted a new job. Not sure what else you'd like to discuss at this point unless you just like to be a sky screamer every time something is rumored to maybe change.

Most of these things start with someone in their ear. Usually a family member or spouse. Not saying that’s this case, but it’s a tale as old as time.

Sullivan wasn’t the WR coach, so not sure where you’re going with this. Regardless, irrelevant to Raymond.

They haven't. That rumor started on here and has now been accepted as fact.

Was not happy when they brought in Busch. He and Busch like each other so it hasn't been a bigger issue. Also, yeah he's the highest paid DB coach, but makes less than several other guys on the staff that he feels he pulls more weight than.

Is it? How many DBs do you think LSU has in the NFL right now?
Jamal Adams
Donte Jackson
Rickey Jefferson
Rashard Robinson
Kevin Toliver
Tre White
All signed in the 2013 class, or later.

NEWS FLASH: He does pull more weight than the majority of the staff.

Hmmmm, interesting.
Someone connected to the program says salary relative to other assistants on the staff is relevant in this situation, some random yahoo named bjorn cyborg says it's not. Who to believe?
Posted on 1/12/19 at 6:58 pm to lsutiger2
That may be true, but he's not the highest paid position coach on LSU's staff - even though he is by far the most valuable position coach on LSU's staff.

a lot (btw, White committed before Raymond was hired, which I've already pointed out, but I'll let you keep him on there to avoid a nonsensical argument from you)
Patrick Peterson
Tyrann Mathieu
Mo Claiborne
Ronald Martin
Jalen Collins
Eric Reid
Ron Brooks was also just released this year
And you know what all of this goes to show? DBU is bigger than either Raymond or Cooper, which is the overarching point of all of this. The chicken little section of our fan base (i.e. you) thinks the world is ending every time anything happens you may not like. It's insane. But here you are, trying to pull at the smallest of strings trying to find out some minute point where I was wrong. You're pathetic. The fact that the numbers are even close after 7 years since Cooper has been here is pretty telling

Giving Raymond credit for a player that SIGNED with LSU in 2013 is nonsensical. That's brilliant.

Jalen Collins
Not on a roster.

Correct.
Last time I checked, 6 of 11 is a majority.

Right. Saying LSU having to replace the best DB coach in the country would be a problem is just an asinine statement.
Really solid job in this thread so far.

Right. It's more pathetic than throwing a bitch fit because some LSU fans don't want to see Corey Raymond leave LSU.

Nope. Losing Raymond would be a big loss.
