Rant Opinion- LSU collapse or aTm adjustments?

Upvote for LSU collapse or downvote for aTm adjustments.
Whiskey and Wine provided some much needed comic relief after the game. Scone and T argued for 40 minutes whether it was LSU giving it away or aTm taking the game from LSU.
The comments were very mixed. I’m curious your thoughts. Which was more of a factor?
I firmly believe we gave the game away. Not finishing drives in the first half, plus the turnovers (which was another argument - was it scheme or Nuss decisions). I’d say the second pic on the out would be the one you could argue most was aTm scheme over Nuss’s poor decision - it still was a bad decision, but the other two were unworldly bad.

Well, yes but which was more of the reason?

LSU pissed that game away. Kicked their arse until they brought in a QB that you didn’t prepare for.

We lost every shred of composure and gave the game away with repeated errors. A historically infuriating loss by our numbnut team and coaches.

Lsu fell apart via not finishing drives along with nuss having an absolutely horrible game ALONG with a good adjustment offensively by ATM
that combined with pressure on Nuss in the 2nd half equaled something too much to overcome
aside that, lsu could win out and STILL sneak into the playoff....easier said that done, we'll see if this team wants to leave a mark on this season
people need to live their lives and enjoy the rest of the season

Nuss threw 3 interceptions inside our 40
I haven’t looked at TOP but I imagine our defense was on the field an insane amount in the second half.

It’s the little things that kill…we lost due to like 6 things lining up wrong (O line run block, predictable play calling, special teams, QB play, no defense to running QB., etc.). But LSU HAD THEIR BOOT ON A&Ms NECK at the end of the first half and went quiet. Points win…pass up points and watch it happen again

Meaningless...went from comfortable command of a game to being blown out in second half.

Overall aTm had the ball 33 seconds longer, but I’m sure you’re right. They couldn’t move the ball in the first half consistently and we couldn’t in the second half.

A&M starting blitzing Nuss and since LSU has no creativity whatsoever in its running game, they pinned their ears back and made Nuss what he is, a great QB when he has no pressure.

A&M definitely made adjustments in the second. We didn’t.

LSU collapse mostly.
If you give away 3 bad Ints, I guarantee most coaches will tell you you’re going to lose the game 99% of the time.
The botched field goals were awful as well.

It’s both. aTm made a great adjustment offensively that our defense couldn’t counter.
But the special teams and QB meltdowns were all self inflicted.
We still would have won if it was just the defense that couldn’t adjust to Reed.
Special teams and offense shitting the bed are why we lost.

Adjustments wouldn’t have made as big a difference if we had been up 20 like we should have been.

Of course it’s both. I’m asking which you think mattered more.
Don’t come in here milquetoast. Answer the question.

Nuss collapse. He gave up momentum on that 1st pick, and he kept up their momentum by throwing 2 more picks. A team can't come back when their QB is giving the ball away.

Read my whole post. I answered that question.
If it was the just defense that failed we still would have won.
Our special teams and QB meltdown are why we lost. Not the defenses failure to adjust.
If we had not turned the ball over and have aTm 3 short fields been a slow to sustain drives, Reed would have been in the sideline and not scoring.

Once A&M realized they didn't gameplan for the run option, it was over.
