It's all about having something to talk about on all of their shows. LSU doesn't provide much potential drama at this time. Things could change next week, however.

For me, it matters because none of these gobblers gave LSU a shot from the beginning. Now, there's one week left, and due to strength of schedule, LSU has been voted as the #7 team in the country.
I almost want LSU to make it into the final 4 just to piss them off more.

This is something that's always pissed me off. We play these teams when they are highly ranked (voted on by the media and coaches) and beat them. When those same teams flame out, we get shite on by ESPN and our wins get devalued.

These guys have shorter memories than progressives. The last few weeks they've been saying that LSU deserves where they are because of their strength of schedule. Nothing has changed. However, i do agree we are a place holder until we find out what happens this week. Wash St. wins and they jump us. Ohio State wins, they might jump us. UCF will not jump us if we beat A&M.
If we embarrass A&M, which i think we will, then Ohio state, even with a win, wouldn't jump us. Wash St. will jump us if they win no matter what. UCF doesn't do anything. Michigan may fall behind us or be 1 spot ahead of us if they lose.

It's gotten better. The D has moved up to 25th in CFB and 5th in the SEC above A&M. The lack of pass rush and struggles vs the run is disappointing.
If Chaisson comes back healthy next season and the DL returns as the should the D should be better even with White and Greedy leaving. Stingley will be a beast from day 1 and we should have a better DL rotation and more pressure.

That is just their opinion. However, their opinion doesn't matter, just like the AP voters and the coach's votes for their rankings.

They had to have something to talk about....the top 4 teams keep winning, so there is nothing to talk about but the outliers.
Obviously, LSU with 2 loses is the most obvious target for controversary. And if the top 4 teams continue to win the discussion will again be about teams 5-10.

They were being truthful. Sorry but we are not a great team. We are a talented team with a great defense but our offense is garbage.

I agree. With the talent fielded on this D I was expecting a suffocating defense. The biggest improvement; however, has been the ability to create turnovers, namely INTs which is impressive considering the lack of pass pressure.
