Citing a message board. Ok, I'm convinced.
No one has thrown the ball end zone to end zone. The farthest recorded throw was 80 yards by Vinny Testaverde in the 1988 QB challenge. I'm sure some has thrown farther but not 20 yards farther. Please spare me your urban myths that grow as time passes Uncle Rico

Ok. Here is one video from 5 days ago of Lamar Jackson doing it at Louisville.
LINK
You actually think football started in the 21st century and athletes were inferior don't you. You really need to go watch these great QBs like Unitas play. Don't be small minded.

No, I don't. And if you really think he threw the ball 100 yards from that video
I'm older than you think, bud. And I'm not small minded, I'm just not ignorant

How wide is a football field?
Posted on 9/23/16 at 12:32 am to Tiger1988
You can't tell where he is standing or where the guys catching it are standing from that angle, much less the horrible video quality. But I guess if the tweet says he threw it 100 yards it must be true

I refuse to believe anyone could throw it farther than Jamarcus. I mean literally anyone ever.
I wonder if that video is still there were he threw the farthest he could for the scouts. It looked like he shot a satellite from a rocket launching pad.
I was watching some game with him the other day (at LSU but forgot who it was against). Dude got rushed out the pocket, jumped backwards because of an incoming rusher, and flicked the ball across his body like 40 yards down field right on the money like it was just normal. That was literally nothing but his arm as the guy was mid air and kind of going backwards.

Davey had a good arm and effortless release but he didn't have a lot of zip on the ball he's closer to etling than Jamarcus. He had great touch but didn't have the arm that some of our guys had. I have tons of old games recorded I watched 2 of Rohan's games this week he's not close to Russell or booty.

Agree his combine was considered the best combine a quarterback has ever had.
Posted on 9/23/16 at 1:03 am to Datbayoubengal
He threw it 85 yards at his combine. ESPN did an article I read. That's at his combine - not how far he could possibly throw it.
Posted on 9/23/16 at 1:07 am to Tiger1988
I've seen him throw it over 80 in warmups same game I saw perriloux throw it between 75-80 in warmups. I couldn't believe rp had that kind if arm.

For those that didn't see Bert play football like I did, here is another gem from Bill Belichick on Jones. Keep in mind he just took a third string QB and a second string QB and about to go 4-0 without Brady.

Well then that's perfect. Now you can show us a link and laugh at us poor suckers for not believing you! Oh wait. 0% chance you provide the link.

Bert Jones and if Coach Mac lets him start all the time he may have won the Heisman. He was that good. J. Marcuss right their with arm strength but Jones better at overall due to understanding and managing the game.

jamie Howard and Jeff wickersham had good arms. No, not like Russelll. He was freaky
Posted on 9/23/16 at 5:23 am to bigtig
Coach Mac had several QBs injured over several seasons. He chose to use 2 QBs after that to insure against being without an experienced QB.
I remember being frustrated by this because Jones was SO good. But, I did understand.

Believe the throw you're thinking of was @UT in 2006 to Bowe and yes it was ridiculous how much he got on that pass with all his momentum going backwards

Jamarcus had a 68% comp pct in 06. What's was jones'
