"Old Gold" helmets in #7 are the best. Wish we used those as our regular helmets. The tiger logo on them was also better than the current tiger head logo on the helmets.

the white-purple-white will forever be dead to me. those purple helmets were probably the coolest part of a uniform I’ve ever seen

I don’t just dislike the all-white uniforms. I hate them. The stormtrooper look always sucks for any team, but it especially sucks for LSU.
The rest of the uniforms look good in a vacuum. But we’re LSU. We don’t need alternate uniforms.

Here is my top 5 after the uni’s look close to one another so it seems a little redundant!
No. 1 - is Number 1, that classic look is emblazoned in my mind!
No. 2 - is Number 4, yes the Troy game sucked but those uni’s are really cool looking and since the OC for that game is gone from LSU we should give these uni’s another shot. Prior to the game most people really liked the color scheme
No. 3 - is Number 5, I kind of dig the “all white uni’s I was just switch the helmet from the white one to the purple one from the Moo St. game last year.
No. 4 - is Number 3 it is another classic look
No. 5 - is Number 8, I need to put a Gold Jersey one in there and I think the white helmet looks better with the “gold” color they are using for the uni’s!

My one gripe with the all whites is the stripes, it would look much better if the pants and helmets matched the shoulders

Because it's not gold, it's yellow. LSU states colors are purple and gold, not purple and yellow. Ditch the yellow and go to old gold. Same for the saints, ditch the black and tan and go back to black and gold. Alleluia, amen, Rant over.
