"I feel bad for Reuben.

His (or his Dad's) misread of the situation probably cost him a couple of million."

IMO it was a bad decision all the way around. It's hard to be taken seriously when JJ is your QB, you've got a pocket passer coming in this season and a chance to win a championship, and you weren't first round material before you put your name in the draft. Do like Dorsey and you come back a Top-10 pick.

LSU had a real QB, but Miles didn't play him. RR got shafted, the team got shafted, the fans got shafted, La got shafted, and everyone watching the MNC got shafted because Miles refused to play the best QB on the team.
I can only hope Miles learned his lesson.

Randall would've been better off coming back to school raise his draft pick for next year, and to win a ship

Please get this shite out of here. Alabama would have beaten us with either of our not-so-stellar QBs under center. This isn't that difficult to understand. We probably would have lost with Luck or RGIII. The plan sucked and Bama showed up to dominate.

So we would have won on 09 Jan if only Lee had gotten a chance to play? Is that your contention?

BTW, I think he should have played. It would have been damn nigh impossible to do worse than we did offensively (hard to top "0"). But you can't seriously believe that he would have saved that game--especially given his record against Alabama.

Did you watch the game. That was Les Miles' worst game as the HC of this team...hands down. And the players didn't exactly show up with fire in their bellies, either.

Soup sandwich. We got fricking smoked in every phase of the game.

2006 ole miss and 2008 troy were pretty bad

I'm not denying we got smoked but the game was never out of reach until the 4th quarter , the defense saved us from a massacre, Les's hard head not to adjust is what lost that game

I would have been willing to give one of the cheerleaders a shot by the middle of the 3rd quarter, but I harbor no illusions that the game was salvageable. We were absolutely dominated. I watched it twice in January and again when I visited my folks last month. With some emotional detachment, you may find yourself truly amazed at how badly we got owned.

Go back and watch the game. You'll see some shite.

Only game that came close was Ole Miss 09', and the 12' MNCG was still appreciably worse.

"Swag" wasn't their problem; preparation and desire were. Swag is fricking easy. They'd been reading their press clippings all year.

Oh well I can't think about that any more head starting to hurt again ......back to Randle I think he would have done himself some justice by coming back probably would have gotten a couple million more and with the average football players career being like 5-7 years those few million can prove big if you never make it in the NFL
