you really think NFL teams watch the tape and don't see how shitty JJ and Lee were? you think they're oblivious to this?

Anyone else think RR could be a lock for St. Louis?

Rams missed out on Blackmon, so might as well snatch up a WR early in second. I guess they could go S. Hill as well.

STL would be a great landing place for RR. Drivable from NE La. Dome team. Assuming Bradford can stay healthy and regain his form. He'll go 2nd round.

NFL teams don't watch film, Slo. They just draft on stats.

If not STL, I think he will do to the Dolphins, which might be a better situation. Miami needs a receiver so RR could have the chance to start immediately.

Lots of analysts have another 6-8 WR's ranked higher than RR. Unless there's a run on WR in the 2nd then he could fall to 3rd or 4th round.

That's one site. NFL.com, CBS sports, SI, etc all have Randle as a top 5 WR and going in the top two rounds

Yahoo Sports

who also had Jenkins as the 19th best receive....

Regardless, Randle won't last past the second round. Book it

Im hoping you're right. Im pulling for RR. Just trying to make you aware that espn and cbs arent the only ones with projections.

I hope the LSU guy goes early and that espn is correct.

PS Yahoo also had Brockers as the #1 DT and Claiborne 2nd overall. Its not like they are biased against LSU players

They are not oblivious to it but seeing as we didn't/couldn't throw the ball enough, it gives them less tape to work with. RR is 'safer' as a 2nd round pick. He may well have been early first round material but there's not enough data to determine this based on limited (sometimes no) QB play.

Which is why coming back this year would probably have helped.

The dude had 50+ receptions, 900+ yards, and 8 tds. He has plenty of tape. His not going 1st round has everything to do with him and absolutely zero to do with Jordan Jefferson.

So after his 900 or so yards (almost entirely with Lee at QB), he produces next to nothing his last 4 or 5 games. What do you attribute this to? Just curious.

we ran plenty of routes to watch how RR ran routes, judged coverage, etc

doubtful. his workouts weren't that great and he was never going to be a "name" guy like floyd or blackmon

JJ, obviously

but NFL teams aren't stupid. they had 2/3 of a season to judge, as well as the 2010 season
