LSU won 9 games DESPITE Ed Orgeron. Not because of him

Funny.....this same argument was used with Miles and people shot it down.

So you agree that 9 wins isn't good enough then?

I love it.

I’d like to get you on record stating what in your mind is acceptable at LSU and if you think we’re trending in the right direction.

The link counters your argument more than it helps.

Here let me help you out...

He hoped to “simplify” it by eliminating the presnap shifts and motions to help a struggling offensive line

quote:

Clapp and left tackle KJ Malone said they felt no difference operating in the more simplified offense.

So, Orgeron eliminated the main component of Canada's offense to help the offensive line, but the offensive line said it didn't make any difference for them.

Let me guess, you think Clapp and Malone are spouting made-up bullshite, too.

I'll bet you $1000 O never wins a championship. If so, I will happily pay you your money. I'll deliver in person even, with crisp 100s and a smile on my face. It ain't happening baw. You know it too. I hope I'm wrong; but I'm not.

Tiger Ree only trades in propaganda.

O could have all seniors and jrs and he still wouldn't win the National Championship or the SEC Championship. He has no business coaching at a major program.

I would make that bet too.

He'd have to have the most loaded roster ever to win, so if I saw that happening I'd just put down a wager in Vegas to cover it.

It would take a roster more loaded than 2011 and if this last recruiting cycle is any indication, that will never happen. No amount of talent could overcome Ed Orgeron’s ineptitude, imo.

That's bc you are stupid.

With this schedule and young offense 9 wins is acceptable.

It's marathon people, not a sprint.
Next years recruiting class prob more important than this years win total.

This is exactly what many fans were afraid of. Amazing that it only took Orgeron a single season to lower expectations that much.

Because this year’s win total will have no effect whatsoever on next year’s recruiting class...

So if Jimbo or Herman got the job over O you would expect more than 9 ws this year?

so we probably should wait until, say 2022 to really be able to evaluate O, right? I mean the 2019 class has to mature and all before we can judge him.

just for the record, what W-L record would it take for you to consider O's coaching job in 2018 a failure?
