Racey as number 3. But Palmer and Boutte will get playing time and likely be starters next year when we lose our 3 Starting WRs This year. Kirklin also likely to start next year.

Our number 3 receiver and TE will get a lot of looks this year. 1 on 1s and will be mismatches. Chase will get double coverage/ safety over the top a lot. Marshall will make people pay and end up pulling extra coverage help also.

Really good WR core for a first time starting QB

It’s an

X Y (F or slot) Z

Question?

Nobody is keeping Racey McMath off that field and he’ll likely lead the team in TDs and yardage through the Florida game. Mark it!

Myles likes Racey in the Z position!
Marshall has the Z while Chase has the X

Palmer would be good also in the slot (Y).

Everyone is gonna eat and they will platoon WRs and wear out Defenses

Nobody will be able to stop this team when they open up the DEEP PASS

Guessing Linehan moves WRs around letting Chase play X and some Y (slot)
Marshall Play Z and some Y (slot)
McMath playing Z and some Y (slot)

LSU is gonna mess up some defensive minds this year

Marshall, Chase, or Racey can play x,y,and z interchangeably. All would be a mismatch in the slot. Gilbert will be nasty and can play slot or outside as the TE.

The speed at WR the year after this will be crazy. Palmer, Boutte, Kirklin were all track stars. Adams can also fly

Racey Mcmath!!!!

Ensminger said he feels like Racey is going to have a breakout year. Hard to bet against Mcmath.

When do you platoon the back-ups?

How many plays do you let your WRs run before they get a breather?

I see LSU playing 8 or 9 WRs this season, esp in Sept when that heat index is 100+

I see TDP and Emery being used a lot in the passing game also. Not sure how good CCs hands are.

I'm excited to see what McMath can do, and think he'll make a big leap. But those are some lofty expectations, with the dominance of Chase and Marshall.

So wait, we have 6 legitimate SEC receivers so we should use our best defensive players as a receiver too? I can see a few plays featuring Stingley this year, but he won't consistently play offense.

Racey is a starter but you've got to get the younger guys involved this year. Chase, Marshall and Racey will all be gone in 2021.

Marshall, Racey and Gilbert should feast in the red zone. Each one is a physical mismatch. People forget that Marshall caught 13 TD passes this past season while missing 4 games. He actually led the nation in TD receptions until he was injured.

Marshall is LSU's Cris Carter.

Anyone think Kirklin might be redshirted?

Would be nice to have him as a senior in 2021

I think McMath will be the guy at the beginning of the year, but the best thing that could happen for the future is for Palmer and at least one of the freshman receivers to get significant results so LSU sill have some experienced receivers in 2021.
