We had to put down our old dog yesterday Russian and I was less tolerant of misinformation on here than usual.

You know Moore has drastically improved his draft stock since I wrote that. You've even interrogated Adam in this thread about Moore's improvement.

Do you really think that a player's MLB draft stock is going to be influenced that much by 6 or 7 games? The scouts have been on Moore for years.

I would respond to you but Lester says I shouldn't argue with 18 year olds.

Seriously, I do think players can improve their draft status even over the course of the last few weeks before the draft. But I don't claim to be a pro scout.

Sorry to hear about your dog. That is a sad time for the whole family. Been there, done that.

You and I are about the same age, so I'd like to think we could have a discussion even if we disagree.

The scouts have been on Moore for years. The've known he is talented long before the last week. That is what I am saying. The fact that I don't think Coach ever gave Moore enough of a shot at playing everyday is just my opinion. We are going to miss him next year.

I cried quite a bit, I will admit it.

No shame in that.

All I saw in Moore prior to his current hitting spree was an average defensive catcher with an average arm and an average bat but who hit best when the game is on the line, like in last year's SEC tourney second Alabama game. I'm happy to know the "scouts have been on Moore for years."

Please edit again and change peak to peek, unless you mean peak, which I doubt.

Aaron Nola Jr. RHP - Going to be a mid level first round pick. Will go anywhere from 8-20. My guess is the Phillies at 7

That was a lot closer than your Tyler Moore prediction.

Tyler probably should have gone in the 5th round...they got a steal

Eta: just my opinion...I'm not a member of the coaches committee

I just hope the Mets don't use Tyler as a signing bonus pawn because he told them when they interviewed him that he wanted to sign no matter what.

His slotted amount is $254K.

I hope it's not where they offer him $50,000 or $75,000, take it or leave it, just so they can have money for someone else.
