Joe burrow stuck around for a lot longer and graduated, idk how you guys keep bringing him up in regards to this. Burrow at least stuck around and competed, if you can’t see that these are different than idk what to tell ya.

See my previous post to some other jabronie who said the same thing.. These are not even kind of the same situation. Walker Howard was afraid of competition and transferred after his freshman year.

Skenes and Burrow are entirely different if you can’t see that then idk what to tell ya man.

Skenes was already a player and proved himself to be a guy that did have “chest” and wanted to show that on a bigger scale and look at the results. Burrow stuck around until the very end and even graduated from OSU.. He left at the very last moment to get a chance..

Howard left as a freshman cuz he is a panzy and that pussy attitude is a pretty big indicator that he probably won’t amount to anything.

He’s also 3rd string at ole miss so he’s clearly not special and they are bringing in other guys too.

Edit:
Y’all are trying to make comparisons to where there are none. Comparing Howard to Burrow and Skenes is laughable at best.

Add Howard to the list of overhyped SW LA white kids who don’t pan out and transfer. This is a trend.

Howard transferred and is still a backup. That tells you something about his talent or where he currently is in his development.

Since he announced he’s coming back, we haven’t seen a single live snap of football, so because the media likes him and he’s #2 in the Heisman odds, we’re supposed to believe that he’s capable of pushing the ball down the field now?

No QB with 3 years of starting experience should ever look as bad as he did against FSU, Arkansas, and A&M. I don’t see how any competent person can watch Nuss’ performance against UGA, after being forced to watch JD all year, and think to themselves that Nuss belongs on the bench.

Look at our WR room this year - Shelton Sampson Jr, Thomas, Nabers, Kyren Lacy, Aaron Anderson - how underutilized are they going to be this season? How much more excited would we be about that group if heading into the season, we knew Nuss was going to be airing it out to them?

I think it may turn out have been the right decision for Howard because I'm not sure he would have beaten out Colin Hurd anyway...

Nuss looked like a talented high school QB who had no idea what to do with the ball and just flung it every time. He has potential, but he doesn’t have it between the ears yet.

This is just complete stupidity.

So Brian Kelly, Joe Sloan, and Mike Denbrock are incompetent now?

Can you math baw?

Nuss sitting out the bowl game only becomes “good for us” if he stays for his RS senior year in 2025

And he would have been a true senior. If he leaves after 2024 him sitting out the Bowl Game was pointless.

So you are agreeing with him that your original comments don’t make sense?

I hadn't really thought about it.

And I am not a huge JD fan, and was very disappointed to see Howard leave.

But you JD fluffers sure do have a chip on your shoulder.

You are going to watch an otherwise very fun season just angry at the world, aren't you?

You saw last year didn’t you? JD had his faults but he was damn good still. We won the west, remember that?

Just FYI we’ve seen Nuss be complete shite at times and he’s a turnover waiting to happen. I think Nuss is a boss too but this is JDs team.

Sloan and Denbrock are on the Nuss bus, it’s CBK that’s making the call to start JD

How dumb. Joe left Ohio St because, like Howard, he knew his clock was running and he was not going to be the starter. Brilliant move.
Howard knew he was not going to start at LSU for two or three years, at best. Probably never. He made a business decision exactly like the players hitting the Portal and coming to LSU.
