Sorry for the stupid question, but I haven't been in Tiger Stadium in 30 years and want to take my daughter to a game next season (2023). I'm looking at tickets in sections 101-105 or 301-305, some are in the first few rows, 2 or 3. Are those seats too low, i.e. will players and equipment obstruct the view? Any sections of the stadium to avoid?

If price is no object, the chairbacks on either side would be great. Aim a little higher on row choice like the previous poster said. Avoid uppers. Suites are nice but I always feel disconnected from the stadium in those seats.

Sit in the 100s up higher if you can. West side gets shader quicker. East side is full sun...

Rows 2 or 3 are definitely too low; you may end up standing the entire game.

Also, the 300 sections will be in the sun during day games; as someone who has sat in 302 for 40 years, you don't want to be in the sun during a day game.

So, ideally, the 100 sections, but nothing below row 15.

I would not go lower that about Row 15. Lower is not a good view of the field.

Personally, I like straight away in the end zone. Best view of the game - can really see the holes open (or not) for the running backs and receivers routes.

Seats are cheaper also. Do not sit low in end zone or side line. For football, mid to upper lower bowl is what you want.

Yes. Too low. Wont be able to see over team very well and little to no depth perception sideline to sideline.
Pros are you can see and hear things you wouldnt normally.

I have been sitting on row 41 in section 301 for 25 years(yes I mortgaged my grandchildren’s education). They are great seats. Get row 25 or higher.

Ideally you want seats on rows 20 through 40 on the west side.

Absolutely. I'm In section 302,row 37. Great views all the way down to about row 12-13. Below that bad perspective, and below 4 or 5 you see the backs of the players on the sidelines.

15-20 or higher.

Section 405. Best seats in the house. My preference is as low as possible, others prefer to be a little further up.

301 row 48. It’s a great view. You’ll have problems seeing the other end of the field that low as well.

I prefer midway or higher for a better view.
