Yes. His wife would have caught him in flagrante delicto, except he would not open his office door. He later claimed the girl was simply giving him a haircut. 
Curley was obviously not an acceptable candidate for the HC job at a school like LSU. He was not as bad a choice as you-know-who, but he was a bad choice by a bad AD (Who also chose Dinardo and Pat Sullivan, with his 24-42-1 record at TCU) Man, Joe Dean sucked worse than Alleva.

I knew Curley’s daughter in high school and he got divorced shortly after LSU due to his affairs. He coached in tuscaloosa a bit too and did the same thing there.

what "I heard" was he had had several affairs that his wife knew about and #20 put her over the edge. Whatever the "The Salon" in Baton Rouge was in the summer of 1994, Dale Hallman was getting her hair done and announced basically to everyone in there that she could handle 19,but 20 was too much or some such thing. Then everyone knew.

From the lips of one of the players involved. CH was moving & he had some players over to help carry the heavy stuff. With his wife standing next to him, he said "guys, take off your shirts, she likes to see sweaty big men". Same players: we would get in late on a week nite & driving past the coaches' offices in TS, we could see the lights on in his office & loud music playing. Happened all the time.
