Players love them. Recruits love them. Fans need to accept them. Period.
BTW I get tired of seeing the same uniforms so I like it.
All the nonsense about people not recognizing the LSU brand is ridiculous. The letters LSU on the tv banner and helmets make it pretty obvious.

WINNING, winning brings recruits in! If it were uniforms then Oregon and Maryland would have the #1 & #2 recruiting classes each year! As much as I hate to say it, alabama handles the uniforms properly...This is us and this is what we look like! LSU should do the same! and as far as recruits...they end up in tuscaloosa very regularly without stupid alternates!

National championships and constant playoff exposure takes care of that. But if changing the uniforms up a few times a season panders to the young stud commits than so be it

If this were a home game, I would object VIGOROUSLY to this combo. It's cursed in Tiger Stadium.
A completely different dynamic on the road, however. Playing in this uniform is a road LSU tradition dating back to the early 1960s, and nothing has happened in these games (other than vs Florida in 1965) to make me believe that gold/purple/gold is unlucky on the road. We actually won at Miss St 45-0 in 2007!

And people wonder why attendance is down at the games.

Recruits love the horrible music piped into the stadium, don't care what the fans want.
LSU wants to make more money by charging to park, don't care what the fans want.
LSU wants to make more money selling cheap-arse food, don't care what the fans want.
CBS wants to maximize revenue by showing more commercials and extending the game another hour, don't care what the fans want.
Whatever happened to satisfying the actual consumer demand in the marketplace? If the consumers demanded a consistent uniform/brand, we wouldn't get top shelf recruits? If the consumers demanded hearing the LSU band in the stadium instead of piped in music, we wouldn't get any players to sign?

Most LSU fans are not as passionate in their aversion to this, as is the Rant.
The only music that I hated was the noxious Redzone refrain when the Tigers were on defense. Fortunately that seems to be a thing of the past

I would like to see once (even if it never makes the field)
White Helmet/Gold jersey and pants
All purple (tho matching helmet and fabric colors is hard sometimes)
All regular white with purple helmets. I didn't like the uni's last year. The helmet was too much and the jersey was too little. Regular white jerseys with non-color changing helmet.

Are you brain dead? First of all attendance is only low against cupcakes and early morning games. (Did you not watch the Florida game) 2nd players (potential players) are the product, and thirdly LSU football is Louisiana, tickets could be $1000 a piece and fans would still show up long as there is a an exciting product to see

They have worn 2 jerseys this year. Both are traditional LSU jerseys.
