But since Wade wears P&G, and is winning, this board is on his side.

If he was the coach at another school he wouldn't be suspended. We've seen this play out over and over again. They don't fire or suspend until the hammer comes down. People are taking issue with how LSU admin are handling this.

Wade bears responsibility for this mess. I would be curious what Alleva's explanation is, and how he must have had his head in the sand. Did he not ever wonder how Wade was pulling in these big time recruits ? I mean, the thought must have crossed his mind.

I have been reading and following threads on Will Wade situation from the beginning like most poeple...I have been an LSU fan for over 20 years...I was there during the good, bad, ugly...Sadly, Tigerdropping fan's have some of the most hypocritical fan's I have ever seen. The same ones that are pissed at LSU for suspending Wade are the same ones that were calling for Ole Miss Coach to be investigated and fired when they were cheating. There are countless examples of this hypocrisy. Ole Miss is just the most recent that fired up our fans.
Yeah yeah...Everyone cheats...I got it...But CWW was an idiot by getting caught. I love the renewed energy that CWW has brought to the program, but this scandal will ruin us and will make it tough to be a fan for a long time to come with basketball...We will be horrible for quite some time. Most of your take is off, IMO. But you are correct about the hypocrisy issue. Though I think that is somewhat a part of rabid fandom in general.
The Freeze comparison is a good a one as I can think of. WHat got Freeze in trouble? Using his own phone. Instead of using a surrogate to do the dirty work is what got both guys in hot water.
Hope springs eternal in the heart of a fan. I hope there is a path to WW coming back to coach at LSU. The logical part of me expects that not to happen but I will set that aside until this is resolved and hold out hope,
