That LH’s face after that ball ran into the other batters box was

Yeah I agree. Overall what I have seen out of this staff is good command. Last years staff felt wild and inconsistent.

It’s also fun to think about the mind frick of going from a 5’10 lefty who is a little sidearm to an overhand 6’9” righty.

I know I’m looking forward to watching him pitch again, that’s for sure.

I missed Rizy pitching. It sounds like it went well

so many pitchers we haven't even gotten to see we're so stacked
18 Innings pitched
31 strikeouts
9 hits
2 walks
1 run
We used 8 pitchers to get that, and we still haven't seen
Shores
Guidry
Schmidt
Cowan
Dorsey
Woods
Noot
Fontenot
Ware
Unreal.

He will be our ace at some point if he keeps up what he did today

And I wonder if he can get his velocity up to 100+ with some development. Dude is bigger than Skenes

I’d love to see the Statcast info on this ball

Prineaux looks good coming off the Cape performance. He should be useful

I can't figure out how Rizy even made it to college baseball. Pros should have been all over him Big Nasty.

That should be illegal. Jesus

It’s really early but I love seeing us walk so few men on base, keep that up and we in great shape

In theory walking guys is something that it shouldn’t matter if it’s against a lousy team or in cws final. You can argue that it’s not straight apples to apples, but so few walks is encouraging

Both coaches have to agree to the 10 run rule, Obviously, both or at least one wanted it today. It's a game by game decision.

2 games without seeing guidry is wild.
we have 2 midweek games.
I imagine Cowan gets 1 of those starts.
Schmidt and guidry could as well.
