Just wanna leave this here for discussion.

Justice Hill in SEC play
2.8 ppg
2.3 rpg
2.3 apg
1.5 steals per
2.5 turnovers per
16% FGs
20% 3pt%
0% FTs

This is your starting point guard averaging over 27 minutes per game. What in the world is Matt McMahon doing?

Hill only started the last game because Cam Hayes was injured.

ETA: Hoping Reed starts at point and Ward at SF. Hannibal off the bench.

Coach McMahon: Please give it a chance!

I hope you’re right but there were better options than starting Hill. In the ATM game, the only game this year he didn’t start, he still played 30 minutes.

I’m assuming you mean someone else at point not Reed? I agree Ward at SF is the way to go, we’re going up against a 6-8 SF for Bama and neither Hayes nor Miller can guard him.

And honestly not much better in the 6 games prior against mostly poor competition.

Agreed, I like CMM, liked the hire and I'm still all in. But the one big issue I have to this point is who he plays, when and how much and not trying to beat up on Juice cause that's on CMM. Playing time should be earned and the last 11 games I don't think anyone can argue the time relative PT Juice has gotten has been deserved or earned.

CMM was a safe hire for Woody to make it through, what he thought would be a few years of sanctions. He will likely not be around 4 yrs from now. Woody doesn’t like having no name guys as coaches. Look for him to go out and way overpay a coach for his name and then LSU will be back to relevancy in basketball.

I think this a bit dramatic. He came into a tough situation and given that I think did a good job putting together a roster.

This is true and well documented.

I in no way think this to be Woody's plan or hope.

In conference play he has an offensive rating under .5

CMM he's literally costing us 10-12 points a game by being in the court

Now that is one of the most weird suggestions. Our 6'10" freshman forward who is a turnover waiting to happen is who you want at point?

Nate is going to stick his hand out for a postgame handshake and then pull his hand up and run his fingers through his hair.
