0I was surprised to see Pearson start tonight, but he did really well and I hope this helps him out of his slump. He was amazing last year as a freshman, and he makes this team better when he's on. Pearson brings us to full-strength.

Coming into '23 I thought we had 3 definite starters, Crews, Tre, and Pearson. Bur Pearson's been in a terrible funk for months. Glad to see him get those hits.

Jobert is the definition of streaky. Jones has earned himself a chance to get hot and I’m ok with that considering his upside.
If he ends up needing a break I’d rather see Beloso bay instead of jobert. Especially if Pearson can keep getting hits and secure that left field spot so Beloso can DH

Last year Jay Johnson said that he believed that Pearson was the next superstar at LSU. That’s why it’s been such a mystery that Pearson couldn’t really get rolling all spring. Good to see him turn it around
