Jayden Daniels stepped up this year and was clutch in some big time moments. He may not have been nearly as consistent as we wanted, but you could argue that we don’t beat Bama, Florida, or Ole Miss without him. I respect the hell out of him for trying to finish against Georgia with a hurt leg. I think it’s time to move on to Nuss or Howard but just wanted to give JD credit where it’s due.

Shoulda coulda woulda. Fact is he went 9-3 in the regular season with a team that should have gone 6-6. We’ve seen much worse.

He is a dude. Now we have the bowl game and open competition. We are all hoping the best man wins. He has some things to work on.

Damn the future is bright.

First pick 6 Nuss throws and this board will light him up too. We need to slow down and push them all to improve the weakest parts of their game. We shall see how this plays out but if JD comes back I expect him to start first.

Could also argue we lose several games without him. I don’t get the JD slander. Dude is good, he’s not a gunslinger but he is a really good QB.

Interesting.......JD is our kicker also? And every other game the defense gave up 38 points or more.

Nuss or any other QB is going to make mistakes. That’s all part of learning and getting better.

Even in the FSU game, the defense couldn’t get FSU off the field limiting the offense to 7 possessions. Daniels led LSU into scoring position on 5 of them.

This is horrible when this is not enough anymore. We are spoiled!!!

Daniels stats

68.5 Completion Percentage
2774 Yards
16 TDS
3 ints (in the SEC)
181 Rushes for a QB
818 Yards
11 Tds

Guess what, if he comes back, he will double some of this. He made plenty mistakes and we won 9 games people. We were the SEC West Champs!!! No one predicted this.
No one!!! Boutte formed a bond here. JD and him talked it out. Our team played better after the PO Meetings.
If JD comes back we are Contenders

good point. Will also add that it was his first game in a new system with a new team and coaching staff.

Nuss might be the guy for the future, I just hate how this board sometimes has to diminish one guy's accomplishments to make their narrative sound better.
